iPad CRM: Why You Should Use an iPad to Manage Your Clients

Using iPad CRM may not have ever occurred to you, but there are actually loads of reasons that you should step up and try this program.

First of all, you may be wondering what precisely CRM is-CRM is a program that pretty much organizes all of your clients in a way that allows you to attend to them and give them the attention that they need. It also helps to make sure that each client is able to obtain the services that they need-when they need it.

It also helps with customer service. For example, if you had a certain client call in and you needed their information right that very second, then the program would pretty much pull it up for you. That way, you could see exactly why they might be calling and also what products and services that they may have bought. Now, assuming that the customer has certain updates or other things available for them, then the CRM program may also bring that up.

However, this program is now available on the iPad as an application. It may seem a little bit ridiculous, but think of it this way:

You can take an iPad anywhere, meaning that if you utilize the iPad CRM programs that are available for you, then you can get customer information anywhere at anytime for any reason. For example, you may be going to see that particular client-if you have the information there, it makes it a lot easier to talk about moving forward and other important things that your client might have in mind for that particular session.

Next, you can also use it in conjunction with any other apps that you may have in mind. It's up to you what you use it in conjunction with-but you know that the very second that you need to look something up client wise that you can get it right that second!

You can also choose what type of iPad CRM that you would like. Certain companies have better, more in depth-programs than others; it's up to you to decide what kind of program that you might need.

Last of all, it can be really, really helpful, because of an iPad CRM's portability. After all, compare it to a computer: A computer can only be taken so far and can only last so long without a charge-an iPad is way more convenient because of its cost, how you can use it, and how easy it is to get to the applications, whereas you have to sit down, set up your computer, turn it on, sign on, etc.

With your iPad CRM program, it takes you less than five minutes to get to your client's information-if that. Essentially, it's one of the best options for a roving company that is trying to get up on its feet or has already gotten on its feet and is trying to run. It's up to you how you decide to expand your company-but iPad CRM is one great way to get you started.

Should I buy an iPad for work?

The iPad is undoubtedly a powerful computing device, but does not add any value for any work environment.

We have the iPad a fundamental part of our workflow since the launch, travel with the carry on business, on 3 continents in person presentations, taking notes of the meeting and we have even made presentations. The verdict-it is a powerful business tool depending on your unique role and work style.

This article will help you evaluate the usefulness of an iPad for you. Read each of the following ten decision factors and evaluate whether the iPad is right for you or not.

--

1. it's a hassle to print for each client/prospect of meeting the same material.

» Many sales people waste valuable time printing fresh material for each client visit. The iPad, you can move from paper and parts of documents on "virtual" pages on the iPad.

2. I have customers/prospects who prefer electronic/PDF documents instead of paper copies.

» Your customers may be to throw away all your printed materials like after each meeting or where they can search your materials electronically file them. Additionally, you can email the iPad you documents immediately in the meeting.

3. I am often absent and don't have a laptop.

» Are you at your desk all day, has a more limited number of scenarios that will be useful iPad. Individuals with regular in-person meetings will benefit most from the presentation, email and reference features in the iPad. If you have a laptop and write e-mails and documents on-the-go, nothing beats the power of a laptop with a keyboard and fully featured operating system.

4. it is realistic for me to move to a less paper-centered work system (meeting notes, customer files, etc.).

» A iPad will cause you to move from paper for many aspects of your work (such as calendars, notes, and tasks lists). Are you ready to give a paper file folder for each client/project, will the iPad powerful for you.

5. my customers are advanced or impressed with technology (wouldn't mock "a shiny new gadget").

» The iPad will be a sophisticated, high-tech image that will be embraced by some and seen by others as a distraction from the project. The technology should enable your work, not distract from it.

6. my work email mobile friendly technology (such as Microsoft Exchange or Google Apps), is used and can mobile or web connections.

» Have easy access to e-mail, calendars and contacts is one of the best features of the iPad, but this work requires that your systems are compatible. Please contact your IT manager to find out if your company supports synchronization with the iPad.

7. I am already using an electronic diary (or the desire to move from a paper-based system).

» The calendar in the iPad works well and allows you to accept and send meeting requests to others. If you are not ready to give a paper calendar, you will miss out on a significant advantage.

8. I international travel and need reliable access to the internet while traveling.

» Internet access during the trip can inconsistent and expensive. The GSM/AT & t model of the iPad will allow you to buy pre-paid internet access for about the same price as an airport internet connection and remain online regardless of which country you are visiting. It can also save you from costly hotel internet fees.

9. I am not compelled to company-specific software applications that can only be run on my computer at work.

» The iPad runs only applications written and published to the Apple App Store and websites that do not depend on Adobe Flash technology. If your company is a specific application that must be installed on a computer, it will probably not compatible with the iPad. Please contact your IT manager to find out if there are specific applications that are not accessible on the iPad.

10. spending $ 25 per month + the upfront cost of the iPad ($ 629 + USD) would be a problem for my budget.

» If you are a United States-based iPad user, we recommend that you purchase a WiFi + 3 G iPad. The 3 G (cellular data)-service costs between $ 15 and $ 25 per month. No long term contracts are required.

Some Really Really Good Reasons Why You Should Get Yourself an iPad

So many people the world over have already started loathing the idea of buying and carrying around the supersized, not-so-cool tablet PC called iPad. Many say it's a big disappointment and definitely not worth the $499 tag price. But many people are on the other side of the fence. So why you should get yourself an iPad?

Because it's downright cool.

Let's be honest with ourselves for the moment, shall we? We all want iPad because it is currently the coolest thing in the world. Forget the price, forget the geeks' ranting about its limitations and just think about that sleek, sexy screen, that flawless aluminum back and that almighty software that has more power in it than you can ever imagine, and it won't take you long to love the device. And it is the vanity of vanities but we know that this one is an eye-catcher. Who wouldn't love to catch other people's attention because of a cool device?

Because it is a Kindle killer.

Maybe not entirely a Kindle killer, it's not a dedicated e-reading device after all. But for a multifunctioning device that delivers premium media-playing capabilities, iPad is certainly cannibalizing Kindle's sales. So much thought have been thrown in to make iPad a decent e-reader and for that alone, it is worth looking into. And besides knowing Steve Jobs, his claim about picking up from where Amazon has started is certainly something you can watch out for.

Because it is a major gaming platform.

No one claimed that iPad is a major gaming platform. It probably is not. But for the quality of gaming experience it can deliver, it can certainly perform at par with some gaming consoles. Plus with the thousands of applications you can choose from, the multitouch screen capabilities, the landscape-to-portrait switching of the glossy screen, you certainly will get more than what you initially expected. Gaming in iPad just an added-value feature? Maybe. But for an added value feature, this exceeds the reasonable expectations of reasonable people.

Because of its applications.

How about having access to more than 150,000 apps? This just shows how much you can do with your iPad. From making stick-it-notes on your homepage to running 3D games and mapping systems, true to Apple's tagline, iPad simply has every application you need. And soon, developers will be adding to the extensive selection of apps already available in Apple app store.

Because it's portable.

You may hear people complain about its 1.5 pounds weight, but really when you come to think of it, no other device that does what iPad does is as light as it is. It is not a stretch to say that people who have some portability issues with Apple's iPad are just picking on it. At 1.5 pounds, this is as portable as you can get.

Because it's an instant device.

There are days when we are not comfortable being burdened with a heavy laptop or desktop OS running in the background. During those days, iPad is the perfect solution. It is a perfect device for watching videos, listening to music, surfing the net and playing games on the go.

5 Obvious Reasons Why You Should Buy an iPad

Almost a year after the first iPad was released Apple released its sequel - the iPad 2. Apple currently controls 80% of the tablet market with its competitors making little effect on sales. The iPad 2 was released as an answer to the Galaxy Tab, Motorola Xoom and many other tablets that considered themselves "iPad killers." Should we all be riding along this iPad 2 wave? How good is the iPad 2 that millions and millions of people queued up just to get their hands on this new device. I will list some of the best reasons why the iPad is a must-have gadget for everybody.

5 Good Reasons why you need to buy an iPad

1. Price - For its functions, its capabilities and its versatility, the iPad is the most reasonably priced tablet in the market. Most of its competitors re-priced their devices when they realized that the iPad was priced lower than they expected. Of course you can always go choose a cheaper alternative but you miss out on all the reasons why the iPad is number 1.

2. Performance -If you liked the original iPad, you will love the iPad 2. The iPad 2 sports a dual core A5 processor with twice the RAM of the first iPad. This ensures the device to be extra fast and extra responsive on different applications.

3. Design -Thinner is better. Apple decided to resize the iPad 2 and to remove some weight - cutting it down from 730g to 607g. Take note that even if the company decided to cut off the dimensions, it still better than most devices twice its weight and size.

4. Applications -65,000 applications anyone? The Apple app market has more applications compared to Blackberry, Android, Windows Phone 7, and Symbian. Basically, this means that your iPad will have more uses than other tablets. The iPad also has quite a number of dedicated tablet applications at the App store.

5. It is the best -Honestly, you can just skip reasons 1 -4 and just go straight to 5. Others might say that the iPad is all hype and that there are other tablets that are much better than it. Well, there may be tablets that are more advanced or more flexible but the iPad offers something much more than that. The iPad is user-friendly, very desirable, sleek and has great application selection. Let's face it, a tablet has limited uses. But with the iPad, you maximize those limitations. What you get is the best tablet out in the market.

Why You Should Not Buy the New Apple iPad!

You only have to open a magazine, browse the internet or turn on your TV and you will see that the new Apple iPad is the latest craze to hit the market! It seems that everywhere you turn there is one advert or another showcasing this apparently brilliant new piece of technology and it seems that everyone and their grandmother wants to own one! True? Of course it is!

Well, I have to admit that I also fall into that particular category and would love to say I'm the proud owner of a brand new shiny iPad! Who wouldn't? But, will I actually go out and spend my hard earned cash on one? My honest answer has to be NO and neither should you!

Confused? Now let me explain!

Depending on the model you may want, the prices for the new Apple iPad vary quite a bit.
• 16GB Wi-Fi only - £429 inc VAT
• 32GB Wi-Fi only - £499 inc VAT
• 64GB Wi-Fi only - £599 inc VAT
• 16GB Wi-Fi/3G - £529 inc VAT
• 32GB Wi-Fi/3G - £599 inc VAT
• 64GB Wi-Fi/3G - £699 inc VAT

As you can see, even if you decide to go with the cheapest iPad model you're going to have to spend a tidy little sum to get what you want and let's face it, we'd all much rather have the top model if we could afford it now wouldn't we? If money was no object we could all have this stunning piece of equipment and enjoy the thousands of apps that are currently available for it from Apple but, unfortunately we're in the middle of a credit crunch and spending such a large amount of money is a hard decision to make for most of us, even if we DO really really want one!

Well, I have to say I've done a lot of research since Apple launched the new iPad and must say that it really is a remarkable piece of equipment that definitely lives up to all the hype it's been given. Believe it or not, the new iPad is only 9.56 inches high, 7.47 inches wide and has a sleek depth of 0.5 inches but unbelievably, it weighs a mere 0.68 kilograms! It is truly mind-blowing how they have managed to contain all that they have in such a small space! It has a 9.7 inch LED backlit, multi-touch display screen with IPS technology making your pictures and video quality second to none (Seriously), a 1Ghz custom designed Apple A4 processor, a built-in 25 watt-hour, rechargeable lithium-polymer battery that provides up to 10 hours of surfing the web on Wi-Fi, listening to music or watching videos and amongst other things, 12 new built-in apps designed especially for this stunning new iPad! In all honestly, I could sit here for the next two days listing everything this amazing piece of equipment can do because the list of great features is endless, so I guess you're wondering now why I'm advising you NOT to go out and buy one?

The truth is I don't want to tell you to go out and buy a brand new Apple iPad because I know you can get one completely FREE of charge! You can honestly have it delivered direct to your door in a matter of weeks and it won't cost you a single penny! As I have stated before, I've spent a very long time researching the iPad and probably like you, have heard lots of different people claiming to give away free iPads to later find out that it wasn't true! I was always brought up to believe "If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is!" so I mainly steered clear of those sorts of sites and dismissed their claims as being fraudulent, BUT thankfully for us, whilst researching the iPad I came across a "diamond in the rough" and found that there ARE genuine sites out there and it IS possible to get a free iPad, as long as you know the correct steps to follow!

Now, I'm not a liar so if you want me to say "Click a few buttons and magically the iPad will be yours" unfortunately you'll be a little disappointed, we live in the real world and it's not quite as easy as that! BUT it really isn't difficult either and I can assure you, it's definitely worth the small amount of effort you have to put in to get it!

Which Should You Buy - An Apple iPad Or a Laptop?

With the introduction of the Apple iPad, a new topic for debate has emerged in message boards, online forums, blogs, and even in the review pages of Amazon.com - which is a better purchase: an Apple iPad or a laptop?

Let's assume that the Apple iPad is up against a good laptop rig that's poised to be serviceable, if not efficient, for the next 2 to 4 years. We're talking about dual core processors, gigs of Ram, a nice video card, and the works

How well does the Apple iPad fare against such a machine? We're going to discuss 5 points of comparisons in our quest to find the answer.

The Power Point

There is no doubt that a laptop - at least the newer models being sold today - pack more processing power than the Apple iPad. The Apple iPad can only boast of a 1 GHz Apple A4 CPU which, judging by the numbers alone, is even less powerful than the usual netbook people have become accustomed to.

Of course, Apple has a reputation for optimizing every ounce of processing power that their machines can exert. Additionally, Apple isn't encumbered by a problematic OS that seems to get slowed down by baggage as time goes by.

Also, Apple is known for doing some amazing things with what little they have. Who could've guessed that the Apple iPhone and the iPod Touch can play a full 3D first person shooter?

But based on numbers alone, the laptop is a clear cut winner here. This is beyond doubt.

Begging For An Extension

Additionally, the laptop should likewise be declared as the winner when it comes to upgradable features. Basically, most laptops allow you to upgrade its specs, from the RAM to the video card to the storage space to the individual components that comprise the whole. Some laptops even allow you to upgrade the CPU, which is nothing short of amazing.

At this point in time, there is no indication that the Apple iPad is upgradable. And with a price difference of a hundred dollars per storage space increments of 16GB, all signs lead to the unfortunate fact that the Apple iPad won't ever be upgradable.

The Cool Factor

Wired Magazine published an interesting study a few years ago, one which claimed that more than 60% of laptop owners purchased their machines because it's the "in" thing to do. This merely shows that the cool factor is an important feature in choosing many of the gadgets available in the market today.

And when it comes to "cool factor," no one comes close to Steve Jobs and his inventions. The iPad wins this one, hands down!

The Verdict

So, which one should you choose: an Apple iPad or a laptop?

The answer? Well, we have to say that you should buy a laptop.

Our reason is simple: you can always get a free iPad from legitimate TEST & OWN offers on the web. The iPad employs a relatively new technology and its manufacturers are always on the lookout for bugs and defects. If you'll help them, they can give you an iPad, absolutely free.

iPad Reviews - Should I Buy An iPad?

You must have read a lot of good Apple iPad reviews to lead you to the decision to buy an iPad.

But before you finally dive into spending your hard-earned $500, it would be better if you also read some negative iPad reviews. This is not to discourage you though. Just like most iPad reviews, this review only aims to guide you towards knowing the limitations of iPad. If you think that these limitations still won't affect your needs for an iPad, then all the better.

Good and Bad iPad Reviews:

First, we might need to define "What is an iPad." In simple terms, an iPad is a tablet computer.

It is a mobile computer that is multi-touched, and is meant to be the iPhone's most superior version. If you own an iPhone, then owning an iPad next would be going to the next level for you.

Most people like the iPad's reliability and ease of use.

Most positive iPad reviews will center on iPad's being quick to start up, iPad lasts longer than netbooks, making it more reliable. It's battery lasts up to 10 hours while most netbooks only last 3 hours or so.

In addition, iPad compared to netbooks is way faster, getting your task done quicker. You can also instantly browse through and use thousands of apps meant only for iPad. No need for long software installations.

iPad is also compatible with iTunes and Netflix, providing all your entertainment you need.

iPad even makes for a great ebook reader, now with its iPad Kindle and VoiceOver text-to-speech feature. iPad also offers a two-page viewing for ebook readers - much like as you would when reading a real book.

iPad is also one of the most stylish gadgets in the market today. It's made of aluminum and not of cheap plastic like what most netbooks are made of. Not to mention this aluminum type of covering also adds to iPad's durability.

Adding to iPad's fanciness is that it is touch screen. You'll certainly feel techie-er with an iPad.

Lastly, iPad's screen is flippable - You can view the screen horizontally or vertically depending on what you're viewing. It simply offers the best viewing angle no matter what size of app you are reading.

Now iPad is generally a classy gadget and a must-have for gadget collectors; but while it has a lot of great advantages, it has a few little cons as well.

Here are some of iPad's known limitations:

First, you cannot watch flash player clips or videos with an iPad. Camera fanatics would also be disappointed because iPad doesn't have any faculties for camera. If you're also a frequent caller or texter, you also can't use iPad because it can't make calls to ordinary phones as well as can't send SMS messages.

Should I buy an iPad? - absolutely yes, if you find the above limitations minor, and find iPad's pros outweighing the cons in all the iPad reviews you read.

Why Should You Get An Apple iPad?

If you are not yet the proud owner of an Apple iPad, then trust me, you want to be. Apple really outdid itself this time around, coming up with a device guaranteed to turn heads wherever you go. The sleek, smart look of the iPad is however not all you should be interested in. This iPad review gives you an insight of all you can expect from the revolutionary new Apple product.

What you will absolutely love about the iPad:

Critics endorse the fact that iPad is the fastest mobile internet device so far. It comes with Apple's powerful internet browser, Safari. iPad is highly optimized for online activities including online blogging, chats, emails, online games. You can bet you'll never feel idle with the internet just a few clicks away. iPad is also awesome to spend time browsing YouTube for videos without you wanting to pull your hair out because the videos take too long to load.

The iPad makes a great personal space providing you with an extensive number of apps (over 14,000) including the new and rocking Apple eReader, iBook. iPad offers a whole range of relatively inexpensive, if not free games, some of which have been specifically designed for iPad and with your music library stuck to you all the time, you can say goodbye to boredom! iPad is elaborate apps for iPad.

The iPad review is what most businessmen swear by. With iPad, you can make the most of your business life. No matter where you are, you can manage your paperwork, presentations, schedules, calendar, in other words the whole of your work from your iPad. You can stay in touch with your clients 24/7.

Technical details of the iPad review

1. The iPad comes with 9.7 inch LED display technology.

2. It is only 0.5 inch in thickness and weighs no more than 1.5 pounds.

3. There is no eye strain even if you fix your iPad screen for long.

4. Crisp display with a high pixel resolution of 1024x768.

5. The iPad has a standard Apple external connector.

6. The iPad keyboard is bigger than that of the other mobile Apple devices.

Things you might not like with the iPad

There is no flash drive though many external (including storage) devices are, even at this minute, being designed for iPads. It can cause strain on your hands if you hold your iPad for too long owing to its weight but hang on, it is quite literally a laptop and so much more.. In direct sunlight, the screen can go all dark on you and some of the apps need more work. The good points outweigh the flaws by far, don't you think?

Top 5 iPad Accessories Every iPad Owner Should Have

An iPad has a wide variety of functions that can be scaled up to improve its functionality, but no matter how many applications you load onto it, there will always be a need for certain accessories that improve the way you use it. These are simply the most practical and sensible options you can go for, if you are interested in increasing the functionality and uses of your iPad.

Protective iPad Case

Protection is the first and foremost important accessory to have. Keeping the unit out of harm's way and reducing the chances of an unnecessary impact are critical. Anti-static rubber is a great option to look for. The material sticks to your hand and reduces shock for any unwanted bumps. One of the best iPad cases, made from anti-static material, is the MARWARE SportShell Convertible Case for iPad. As its name implies, you can transform this case into multiple positions for different purposes, like a stand and strap to easily hold your iPad.

iPad Charging Station

A charging station is great for holding your iPad up when you want to view from afar. There are a number of useful and interesting ones now available, which will support and look after your iPad when not in use. Most people iPad owners also have an iPhone or another iDevice. If this is you, it would be wise to look into a charging station that will charge multiple devices at once- saving time and future headaches.

A Good Screen Protector

Screen protectors are another sensible accessory to invest in, which are also a fairly inexpensive accessory. The iPad's touch screen is used constantly and prone to scratches and dirt can also cause serious problems. A screen protector creates a protective barrier against those unwanted scuffs and it still gives you the normal sensitivity of the touch screen itself.

Stylus

A great way to improve your input to the device would be to use a stylus pen or a wireless keyboard. The stylus works well for making screen selections and is impressive when combining it with the handwriting functions. Wireless keyboards allow you to type entire mails in a jiffy, without the cumbersome touch screen typing, but some situations a stylus will be better. There are now apps that all you to take handwritten notes on your iPad screen and then print them off if desired.

Camera Connection Kit

Another great use is the addition of a camera connection kit. The iPad is yet to be released with a built-in camera, so being able to download your pictures directly to the iPad, where you can view, edit or upload them directly to your Facebook profile for example. There is also the possibility of video calling via Skype, making your online communication that much more pleasurable.

As mentioned before, these are some of the most basic iPad accessories that can increase the functionality of your iPad. One of the neatest things is that most of these accessories (apart from the case) are compatible with the iPad 2 (if you had purchasing one in mind).

Why You Should Buy an iPad

This question appears to be the focus of so many debates since the release of the iPad in the UK. Many are comparing the iPhone to the iPad and trying to establish whether they actually do need an iPad. There are specific reasons for wanting an iPad, and it depends on the buyer needs and the everyday requirements of the user.

1. Watching videos, playing games and storing all your media.

While this can be achieved on the iPhone, the iPad offers a bigger screen and less controls. With the latest flash upgrade, gamers can try the latest games on offer.

Yes, it doubles as a gaming platform. Electronic Arts recently released iPhone and iPad versions of many of their games.

Clearly, the iPad poses a threat to even Sony and Nintendo's mobile gaming consoles simply because games on the iPad and iphone are simple to use, of high quality, and available effortlessly by simply downloading them from the app store at reasonable prices.

The iPad allows movie buffs to store all their movies for viewing of HD quality movies at any time.

2. The iPad offers sharp text when reading books.

For many who listen to their traditional mindsets, printed books remain popular. Apart from saving the environment, the iPad offers a storage medium like no other portable device. The iBook application already competes on a fierce level with Amazon's Kindle ebook reader.

Students can transfer all their books to the iPad instead of stuffing their cumbersome back packs with book after book. Movie lovers can store all their films on the iPad and if a perch is purchased like the bookarc stand, the iPad becomes a convenient way to read your latest novel or watch your films.

For education, this presents a new wave of ebook media with companies being able to release books that contain video and audio and exclusively available through iBooks.

3. For recreational use around the home and office

The great aspect of the iPad is how it fits into any lifestyle albeit for the workplace or your home. Current iPad cases allow you to perch your iPad on a stand for tables or desks. It becomes your home computer (without the Microsoft nightmarish errors) for checking your mails, what is new on Facebook, sorting your books and movies, looking up a very important travel booking, etc. This has been supported further since Bluetooth keyboards can be plugged into the iPad.

4. You are fed up of boot up errors, crashes, and well anything Microsoft related...

If you work from a desktop PC at home or work and something goes wrong with the system, it becomes time to wait for a solution to be found online or for the IT department to sort it out. All results in delays whether you are able to troubleshoot the issues or not. Perhaps your laptop crashed without any reason and it is time to bring it into your office for fixing or a problem has occurred beyond your ability to fix quickly.

This all delays your work and causes endless headaches. If you just need email access, web access, the ability to check trends on the web sites you read each day, then the iPad will suffice. Of course, you lack access to software. There are limits as opposed to being a laptop or notebook user. Though, if you just need access and no issues, the iPad wins every time.

Whether or not you buy an iPad depends on your personal needs. Weigh them up against what you really need each day for work purposes and personal usage. Perhaps the iPad offers all your daily requirements in a single portable tablet.
